Katherine chose to follow her dream of becoming a certified Life Coach in May of 2023 to help women find themselves and avoid toxic relationships. With 9+ years of personal experience in holistic healing, cognitive psychology, meditation, and self-help, she graduated with a Life Coaching certificate from the Jay Shetty School of Coaching in October of 2023
What initially started as her own healing journey has evolved into a passion and a profession of helping other women recover and thrive the way she has. Katherine struggled with depression, anxiety, and complex post-traumatic stress in her early 20’s as a result of abuse, sexual assault, and rape. Through lots of hard work, resilience, and self-compassion she was able to learn to love herself and love life again.
Her success in finding happiness after trauma is what lead her to seek out a coaching certification so she could better support other women in their own journeys to wellness, loving themselves better, and finding healthy, happy relationships.
She is deeply committed to helping women overcome their struggles and discover their true selves.
With a background in K-12 education, Katherine was an internationally certified English teacher whose teaching style focused on expressive writing therapy and social-emotional growth through storytelling and writing. She’s taught in China and the United States. She graduated from Texas A&M University in 2017 with a Bachelor of Science in Economics and a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature. She’s also the author of a published book of poems titled "Truth & Poison: Lessons in Heartbreak."
Currently embracing the freedom of a work-from-home lifestyle, Katherine continues to explore the world and has traveled to 10+ countries including Morocco, Italy, France, and Argentina. She enjoys hiking, meeting new people, and reading books during her travels. Her loves include her partner, herbal teas, corgis, succulents, and the TV show Brooklyn 99.
Katherine’s mission is to use her personal and professional experiences to empower women to heal, recover, and thrive, guiding them toward a future free from toxic relationships and full of self-discovery.
